Electrical Engineer w/Healthcare project experience needed in Houston in Houston, TX

Our client, an MEP Consulting firm serving a wide range of industries, is seeking an Electrical Engineer in their Houston TX office. We are searching for an Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in design of electrical distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems for buildings and facilities. Project engineering responsibilities include overall electrical design ranging from conception through construction completion. Requirements include development of electrical drawings and specifications with emphasis on code compliance, technical correctness, and ability to satisfy client needs. Additional responsibilities include review of contractor submittals and mentoring support CAD staff. Typical projects are of medium to high complexity for healthcare, higher education and other institutional clients. Qualifications include strong communication and interpersonal skills and an above average ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Some travel required. BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required EIT or P.E. registration preferred.
