We provide all the necessary resources and excellent comp package to achieve this.spanppppSCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIESppThe Commissioning Engineer provides high-level support for marine propulsion system commissioning and overhauls, and performs troubleshooting and repairs on the companys products and systems.ppDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESbrbrpul liResponsible for preparing and executing detailed commissioning and system overhaul plans. li liWork with customers, project managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Service to ensure systems are installed and function correctly. li liManage field crews and 3rd party contractors at customer locations to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.li liConduct dock and sea trials of installed propulsion equipment. li liPrepare detailed reports for customer and TMOT management on job specific results. li liTroubleshoot and repair defects and product failures, conduct root cause analyses, documents findings, and recommends corrective actions. li liAssist with the training of contractors, customers, and vendors on product operation and maintenance as required.li liAssist with factory acceptance testing of completed assemblies and components prior to shipping.liulpOTHER QUALIFICATIONS pul liGood verbal and written communications skills, including being able to clearly communicate difficult problems to a customer. li liIndependent and proactive individual with above average management skills.li liGood current knowledge of Microsoft productivity software, including Ms word, Ms excel, and Project.li liMust be able to travel up to 30 of your timeliulpMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSbrbrpul liAssociates degree in electrical, mechanical, or marine technology, or equivalent and ten years background in a similar position andli liDemonstrated expertise to plan and execute complex technical operations. liulpPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSbrbrpul liBachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering andli liFive 5yrs background planning and executing complex technical operations involving control systems, mechanical rotating equipment or electro-hydraulic systems in an offshore marine environment.br br liulpspanThrustmaster of Texas is an equal opportunity employer.
