Youll be part of a company who maximizes the environmental and economic performance of the large vessels and power plants of its customers. With that said, as a marine service engineer, youll be responsible to perform mechanical maintenance andor troubleshooting and balancing on turbochargers specifically on 4 stoke medium speed engines 1200hp and 2 stroke slow speed engines 10000 to 80000kW. Perform pre-commissioning on installations and perform mechanical commissioning on power plants. Participate with improvement of new turbocharger products when performing warranty activities. Identify failures, making adjustments, assist on trial runs and testing of mechanical installations according to instructions. Check and adjust relevant systems i.e. aux, turbocharger. Perform mechanical maintenance in the workshop, mainly turbocharger components. Overhaul engine components in workshop and at siteon board including some in situ machining.
