2003 STONER SKIFF Yamaha Engine in Houston, TX

2003 STONER SKIFF Yamaha Engine

Hull: 2003 Stoner Skiff 19" hand laid hull out of Corpus Christi Tx. Gel coat is like glass including the bottom. Only a few very minor scratches. New 2 part epoxy paint with anti-slip additive inside the boat. Transom is perfect! This is a solid boat. No rot. Steering is smooth. New Rub Rail. New adjustable Jack Plate. Transom Saver. New drain plugs. Stainless Steel or Brass all around. Large fuel tank cleaned and new fuel lines. Two Batteries (not pictured). New 100 qt. Igloo cooler. Galvanized Anchor. Only thing wrong with it is the multi-gauge for the motor. The sun has killed the LCD screen on it. A new one on Ebay goes for around $250. Plenty of deck space. This is a very shallow running boat. And is VERY, VERY fast! I would rate it, 8 out of 10 for a used boat!Trailer: 2003 Sportsman. Galvanized. NO RUST! Tires have 90% life left on them. I have a spare wheel and tire if you want it. Bearing Buddies. Bearings are greased no rust. All new Hardware. New Bunks and Carpet. New Electrical all around (wires, lights...). New boat winch and wheel winch. New Chains. New Cleats. (I think you get the picture.) I would rate it, 9 out of 10 for a used trailer!Motor: 1996 Yamaha 150 hp Saltwater Series 2 stroke Oil Injected. Stainless Steel Prop. Tilt & Trim. This motor is as close to new as possible. Since it was purchased in 96' it had only been run a few times. Shortly after the owner purchased it he passed away and it sat there till about 2 years ago when I bought it. A small amount of rust built up on one piston ring and caused it to get stuck. So I have completely rebuilt the motor with new bearings, rings and replaced the one piston with a new Yamaha piston. Block only needed a quick hone job, even though the other cylinders were like new (no wear on them). I had all journals polished (since I had the crank out). Some would say a lot of the things I did weren?t necessary but I'm kind of a perfectionist. It has about 20 hours on it. Fires up every time and doesn't stall-out. I dare you to find something wrong with it! I have all the process pictures to the rebuild and will gladly send them to you upon request. People think it's a new motor when they see it. I would rate it, 10 out of 10 for a used boat motor!
