Project Manager-Multimedia Environmental Compliance in Houston, TX

Sequence is seeking an experienced and talented Project Manager to lead client multimedia environmental compliance, auditing and site investigation / remediation at the local, state and federal levels. This is consulting opportunity and hands on role with one of the United State's most recognized and respected firms here in Houston. Responsibilities include client engagement for compliance auditing, due diligence reviews, site investigation and remediation, project management, emission calculations, data analysis, control technology review, permitting, risk management and strategic regulatory analysis. This includes understanding and exposure to a wide range of media from air and water to waste and chemical contaminants. The Project Manager will also be responsible for client interface, marketing, and proposal development along with staff development and supervision (though this is more along the lines of client relationship management and cross selling as part of consulting activities rather than traditional cold calling). Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting experience or hands on experience in a industry role focused on multi-media compliance auditing, site remediation and project management. Industrial, energy or manufacturing experience and working with regulatory agencies is a must, along with experience with project and staff management. In-depth experience in developing innovative approaches to solving complex project problems is required. Requires a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering; master?s degree preferred. Also requires strong written and verbal communications skills, plus quantitative and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail, ability to travel as projects require, and a proven ability to manage time effectively. Knowledge of air, water, hazardous waste, RCRA, UST, PCB, SPCC, FIFRA, and other related compliance would be a strong plus to consideration.
