Game of Real Life Team Leader in Houston, TX

To enhance the learning experience of the students taking part in the Game of Real Life, Skills For Living has Team Leaders. These Team Leaders are college students and/or Game of Real Life graduates, who’ve displayed great leadership skills.
What does a Team Leader do?
Each team leader coaches a team of 10-15 students throughout the Game of Real Life. The team leader facilitates discussions, reviews homework assignments, completes administrative duties and assists the students with mastering the financial, career and college planning material.
The team leader is responsible for ensuring that all the students contribute and share their ideas throughout the course as well as make sure students fully understand the topics covered by the instructors.

What is my commitment to the program as a Team Leader?
Game of Real Life is divided into two sessions, a 100 hour course in June and/or July (offered with the HS summer school schedule; that which is TBD) and a 100 hour course in July at UH/Rice. It is mandatory that ALL Team Leaders from both sessions participate in the training as well as the two day Game.
