Since 1987, Visual Comfort & Co. has been a leading producer of quality designer lighting. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a Chief Operating to join our team to provide day-to-day management and direction for the company.
• Master of Business Administration or Industrial Engineering;
• Background in a manufacturing/distribution environment is required;
• Expertise to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
• Solid working understanding of budgeting and strategic planning;
• Excellence in organizational management with the expertise to coach staff to manage and develop high-performance teams and develop and implement process strategies;
• Work experience of effectively leading an organization with a complex array of programs with the expertise to leverage strengths across departments; excellent project management expertise;
• Analytic and decisive decision maker with the expertise to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives ad tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals;
• Expertise to point to specific examples of having led organizational transformation projects and program development;
• Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation;
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and presentation skills;
• Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management;
